                         Girish Karnad         Girish Raghunath Karnad was born on 19 May  1938 in Matheran, Bombay presidency Now Maharashtra India. His mother krishnabhai was a widow before his bith. Girish Karnad breathed his last at  06:30   Am on Monday  (he was 81) at a Bangaluru Hospital. Karnad succumbed to prolonged illness at his residence in Vittal Mallya road Bangalore. Karnad predominantly worked in South India cinema and Bollywood. He rose to prominence with his coming of age modern India plyawriting in Kannada.
