       Midnight children

Midnight's Children is a 1981 novel by author Salman Rushdie. It portrays India's transition from British colonialism to independence and the partition of India. It is considered an example of postcolonial, postmodern, and magical realist literature. The story is told by its chief protagonist, Saleem Sinai, and is set in the context of actual historical events. The style of preserving history with fictional accounts is self-reflexive.

The story of Midnight's Children is the story of Saleem (played by Darsheel and Satya Bhabha), who was born at the precise stroke of midnight, and exchanged at birth with the child of an affluent Indian Muslim family, the Sinais. Saleem shares a gift that over a thousand children born between the hours of 12 and 1 the Midnight’s Children that historic night, were bestowed with: he has super powers. In a Bryan Singer movie, this could have led to a X-Men type battle between these children and the villainous humans who want to destroy them, but this film sticks largely to Saleem’s story, as he battles his destiny through two wars and the emergency.

In the film most surrounding of the children who was in the stoke of the midnight during 14th Aug 1947 With magic power. In the movie everything happening between two characters Saleem and Shiva  and another like Parvati, Ahema Sinai, Amin , Mary perira etc.... In the film one question rise that what is fault of that children which born midnight? What luck ,all the children are sad. The narrator and protagonist of the novel. Born at the moment of India’s independence and blessed with the powers of telepathy and an uncanny sense of smell, Saleem tells his extraordinary life story as his body begins to crumble, an account that significantly parallels the history of postcolonial India. As a narrator, Saleem can be both unreliable and self-centered at times.

In the film mostly symblize nose because Saleem calls the midnight children by the sound of the nose. Whatever midnight children talk about happens in dreams that are not understood in reality. In the film Mary Pereira is the most important roll who was nurse in hospital. She exchange both baby boy with each other. She she was remained presant around when all thing happening by her mistake.

And Saleem was pakistan and Shiva joined in army in the film after war Saleem come back to India and Marry with Parvati and who beloved of Shiva and she gave birth of child . Parvati she was witch power of doing absent anything with "Abrakadabra" and the another things like Saleem power of smell to feeling.

The Reluctant Fundamentalist

The movie, based on a well-received novel by Mohsin Hamid, charts the political and spiritual journey of Changez, a driven young Pakistani who arrives in New York determined to succeed, American-style.

The novel is about the life of Changez Khan, a young, middle class Pakistani boy from Lahore who is living in the US, where his life completely changes after the attack of 9/11 and he comes to experiencing this in such a way that he has to end up quitting USA and return to Pakistan leaving behind his highly paid job and promising career. The plot of the novel is set in a tea stall of Lahore, where Changez meets a man whom he suspects to be an American. In the novel the American has been given the name The Stranger who all throughout the novel stays alert and suspicious. Changez finds a weird connection with this man as he is the only American he has ever met after his return from AmericaThe story continues as Changez goes on to tell The Stranger about his life in America and the difficulties he faces as a Muslim after 9/11. Changez told the story in great detail, mentioning all that he felt during his life events. It is this time when the author in corporates the themes of the novel. Which we will talk about later in detail. There a very few characters in the novel in total, precisely just 7-8. The actual work of the Stranger and Changez is not mentioned in the novel and is left to the readers to assume that. Changez suspects the stranger to be an American spy.

The novel ends abruptly when Changez accompanies the stranger to his hotel while they are followed by few men including the waiter of the tea stall in which they were the whole time. Also, during their time at the tea stall Changez covered up the strange behaviour of the waiter towards the stranger many times. The author does not mention in the novel what happens when the stranger notices the group of men.

After 9/11 the patriotism amongst the Americans increased and became significantly noticible. The Muslims in America were mistreated after the 9/11 attack, people around them saw them as a threat and behaved oddly. There were a number of times when Changez felt that people treated him differently because of his appearance, the clothes he used to wear and his colour. The whole of America seemed to buspicious of Muslim men after the attack of 9/11, before all his international flights from America Changez used to be scrutinized heavily and was even asked to strip-off for this purpose everytime.

Racism and Fundamentalism: Throughout The Reluctant Fundamentalist, beginning of the first  Hami the author, shows how people judge one another based on their clothing, their skin color, and their mannerisms. These forms of racism shape Changez and his impressions of the United States. Although Changez's friends at Princeton treat him respectfully, they're aware that he is an outsider in the United States.

Like all other works of Mohsin Hamid The Reluctant Fundamentalist' is a notable one. Mohsin has incorporated the very important themes of the novel very skilfully and in a simplistic manner. This shows the skill and ability of the author. Also this novel has dealt with realities and accounts the actual ugly situations that people go through because of war. For all these reasons I highly recommend everyone to read this novel and all other works of Mohsin Ahmed.
