The Waste Land" is a poem by T.S. Eliot. It was first published in 1922. After it had been printed in London in The Criterion, it was reprinted in New York in The Dial.

In "The Waste Land," Eliot delivers an indictment against the self-serving, irresponsibility of modern society, but not without giving us, particularly the youth a message of hope at the end of the Thames River.

The Waste Land is an epic poem. Broken into five main parts with 434 lines, The Waste Land is one seriously long poem. Epic poems are generally lengthy narrative poems, and Eliot's poem could certainly be classified as such, even though the poem itself does not follow any sort of defined story line.

What are your views on the following image after reading 'The Waste Land'? Do you think that Eliot is regressive as compared to Nietzche's views? or Has Eliot achieved universality of thought by recalling mytho-historical answer to the contemporary malaise?

We can found here see the difference views Eliot and Nietzsche .

So Eliot bileave in supernatural powers and anther side Nietzsche bileave in atheists.

Also Eliot is using the past references to answers contemporary malaise because myths and religious both changed and influence in the way of the thanking of problem .

Nietzsche believe in Ubermersch who gave solution to the problem for contemporary crisis for instunce.

2) Prior to the speech, Gustaf Hellström of the Swedish Academy made these remarks:

What are your views regarding these comments? Is it true that giving free vent to the repressed 'primitive instinct' lead us to happy and satisfied life? or do you agree with Eliot's view that 'salvation of man lies in the preservation of the cultural tradition'?

We all are lives our lives with specific perspective with discipline and with moral rituals. It's truth 'that giving free vent to the  repressed  and
Satisfied life individual thinking and happiness which is satisfying us.
Can harm anthers and which given pleasure to others can harm us.

 3) Write about allusions to the Indian thoughts in 'The Waste Land'. (Where, How and Why are the Indian thoughts referred?)

At the last part of the poem Eliot used three types of " Da " .
