Ecocriticism & ecofeminism

     The thanking Activitiy given by Dilip Barda sir ,  about the   Ecocriticism  Ecofeminism and it is a part of literature.

    Ecocriticism deal with the relationship between cultural and nature  rejects the nation that everything is socially or langustically
Constructed Ecocriticism is against the old established definition of nature therefore Ecocriticism..

       Ecocriticism it's means a study of the relationship between literature and environment in the mid - 1990's Ecocriticism is a term derived from Greek Oikos and kritis.

As Ecocriticism Lawrence Buell says the pioneer of Ecocriticiam influence by Emerson ,
 Ecocriticism takes as it's subject the interconnections between nature culture.

Ecocriticism the word Ecocriticism traces brak to William Rueckert's 1978 essay " literature and ecology a experiment in Ecocriticism "  and apparently dormant in critical vocabulary until the 1989 western literature.


    Ecofeminism :
 

  Ecofeminism a philosophical and political theory and movement which combines ecological concerns with feminist ones regarding both as results from male domination of society.


Types of Ecofeminism issues.......

Oppression of women,
Nature,
Racism,
Classism ,
Homophobia,
Political,
Economic issues,
Environmental domination and Degradation etc..

    Aristotle : The rallian of mali to female is by nature a relation of raperior to inflrrio and of rulure to ruled.

  Thamos Jefferson women's position an house not in politics and public offia.


  Charles Darwin man is intellectually raperior to women.
Upto 18th century , no voice was raised against famalis inequality.

    Francois d' Eaubonne is founder of Ecofeminism  , in the 1970s, is a relatively new form of feminist.

  Ecofeminist theory assert that a feminist perspective of ecology dose not place women in the dominant position of power, but rather calls for an egalitarian, collaborativ society in which there is no one dominant group..
     Ecofeminism emphasize that both women and nature must be respected.



Example :   Chipko movement.


   

   

   Chipko movement was started in 1973 spontaneously in uttar pradesh , in an effort to save trees and forest from felling by forest contractors.

Chipko literally means to stick and people started sticking to trees when it's was being.

 Ecofeminist issue like water, pollution, deforestation toxic ,waste   dumping, agriculture development and sustainability, animal rights and unclear weapons, politicies .

Ecofeminist literature assert that the nation of power must be restructured.
